Playful Wearables Made With Care!
Hi, I'm Sage, the face behind SALVEJ!
SALVEJ (sal-vej) was started in the fall of 2019 after I unexpectedly had to leave my job in the restaurant industry. I always loved statement earrings and jewelry so I began tinkering around with polymer clay. I sold here and there on queer Facebook groups in the area, and finally decided to do my first pop up at the Providence Flea.
5 years and about a thousand pairs later SALVEJ has grown! You can now find my earrings in three brick and mortar stores in Rhode Island and Mass, here on Etsy, and at pop ups scattered throughout the year! SALVEJ is so special to me as it has not only helped me grow as an artist and person, but it has allowed me to meet some of the most talented and kind people around. Who would have thought that silly stickers, loud colorful earrings, and art would create a beautiful community of weirdos?
SALVEJ still is centered around polymer clay, but as I've evolved I've included my "beaded animals", painted clay, dead stock charms, and reclaimed beads. A lot of my work in person is one of a kind, but the stars of the show are featured here. If there's ever anything you see that you'd like customized, just drop me a line. I want to make jewelry that you love and are actually going to wear!
Thank you for reading!
